In the first quarter of 2023, the top 5 pirate-themed games on the Android platform in Ukraine showcased varied performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here, we delve into the specifics of each game.
Last Pirate: Survival Island experienced a notable decline in weekly downloads, starting at around 6.8K in late December 2022 and dropping to approximately 1.4K by the end of March 2023. The revenue trend mirrored this decline, with the game generating around $375 in the last week of December and then seeing a sharp drop to near-zero levels by the end of January. Weekly active users also decreased from 24.3K to 13.2K over the quarter.
Lord of Seas: Survival&Conquer saw a fluctuating pattern in downloads, with a significant peak of about 7.4K in the last week of March. Revenue for this game was minimal, with a brief spike to $182 in early February. Weekly active users grew steadily, reaching a peak of approximately 13.3K by the end of March.
Pirate Raid - Caribbean Battle maintained a consistent performance in weekly downloads, averaging around 2K to 3K throughout the quarter. Revenue saw an upward trend mid-quarter, peaking at around $710 in mid-February. The game’s active users peaked at approximately 4.5K in late February before stabilizing around 3.1K to 3.2K towards the end of March.
Pirate Treasures: Jewel & Gems had a relatively stable download rate, with minor fluctuations between 1.8K and 3.2K. Revenue remained steady, averaging around $1.1K to $1.3K per week. The game’s active user count hovered between 27K and 34K, showing a slight decline towards the end of the quarter.
Pirates of the Caribbean: ToW experienced a significant drop in weekly downloads, starting at around 3.1K in late January and falling to approximately 1K by the end of March. Revenue saw a high of about $4K in late December but gradually declined to around $2K by the end of March. Active users peaked at approximately 7.2K in early February, then decreased to around 5.2K by the end of the quarter.
