In the first quarter of 2023, the performance of Pokémon collector games on the Android platform in Guatemala showcased some intriguing trends. Here's a detailed look at the top five games based on data from Sensor Tower.
Pokémon GO by Niantic, Inc. demonstrated significant activity. Weekly revenue saw a peak in late February, reaching approximately $1.4K, with another notable spike around mid-February at $1.2K. Weekly downloads were also robust, peaking at 7K in the last week of February. The game maintained a high level of weekly active users, with numbers fluctuating between 86K and 107K throughout the quarter.
Slugterra: Slug it Out 2 from Nightmarket Games experienced modest revenue growth, peaking at $70 in the week of March 20. Weekly downloads were relatively stable, ranging from 1K to 2K. The game’s weekly active users showed a consistent pattern, peaking at over 5K in mid-February.
Super Monster: Color Friends, published by CAESURA YOUTH ORCHESTRA, had a significant surge in weekly downloads in mid-March, reaching over 4K. Active users also saw a notable increase, peaking at over 13K in mid-March.
Monster Life by Yso Corp had a steady performance in terms of weekly downloads, with numbers ranging between 400 and 800. Active users fluctuated slightly, with a peak of nearly 2K at the end of January.
Monster Box, also from Yso Corp, maintained a consistent download rate, generally between 400 and 600 per week. Active users showed a gradual decline, dropping from over 1.5K at the start of the quarter to just over 1K by the end of March.
