2026 State of Mobile is Live!

In the first quarter of 2023, the top sports apps on the Android platform in Switzerland demonstrated varied performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at the metrics for each app, based on data from Sensor Tower.
EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile Soccer from ELECTRONIC ARTS experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at around $16.3K in late February. Weekly downloads saw a general decline from 2.9K in late December to 1.3K by the end of March. Weekly active users started at approximately 47.8K and decreased to around 39.5K by the end of the quarter.
8 Ball Pool by Miniclip.com showed a downward trend in both weekly downloads and active users. Downloads decreased from 1.4K at the end of December to 755 by the end of March. Active users saw a slight decline from 9.8K to 9K in the same period. Weekly revenue peaked at $5.5K in late December and gradually decreased to about $3.2K by the end of March.
swiss unihockey hub by the swiss unihockey federation, launched in mid-February, saw its highest weekly downloads of 4.8K shortly after release. This number gradually declined to 427 by the end of March. No revenue data was available for this app.
Football League 2024 from MOBILE SOCCER saw weekly downloads peak at 1.4K in late January, followed by a decline to 250 by the end of March. Active users increased from 2.5K at the end of December to a high of 3.6K in late January, before dropping to 2.8K by the end of the quarter. No revenue data was reported for this app.
Soccer Superstar by Real Freestyle Soccer had a peak of 3.5K downloads in late December, with a steady decline to 686 by the end of March. Active users decreased from 17.4K to 10.2K over the same period. The app generated negligible revenue during the quarter.
