Throughout the first quarter of 2023, the top 5 carpooling and ridesharing apps in Croatia demonstrated varied performance in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Below is a detailed look at each app's metrics, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Bolt: Request a Ride from BOLT TECHNOLOGY OU saw weekly downloads fluctuate between approximately 2.2K and 4.8K. The highest download rate was recorded in mid-March with 4.8K downloads. Weekly active users showed a steady increase from around 64.9K at the start of January to a peak of 76.5K in mid-March, before slightly declining to 69.9K by the end of the quarter.
Uber - Request a ride, published by Uber Technologies, Inc., had weekly downloads ranging from 1.2K to 2.8K. The app experienced a notable increase in downloads in March, reaching 2.8K. Meanwhile, weekly active users hovered around 96.3K to 120.3K, with a peak in early March at 117.1K.
BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus by Comuto maintained a relatively consistent download rate, with a high of 2.1K downloads in mid-March. Active users for this app remained stable, starting at 10.9K in late December and ending at 10.7K in late March.
Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver also from Uber Technologies, Inc., had weekly downloads ranging from 187 to 440. The highest download rate was observed in mid-March with 440 downloads. Weekly active users were relatively stable, starting at 3.8K and peaking at 4.3K in early March.
Lastly, Careem – rides, food & more from Careem saw a lower download rate compared to other apps, with weekly downloads ranging from 99 to 232. Active users for Careem started at 335 in early January and saw a slight increase to 427 in late February, before ending the quarter at 297.
