In the first quarter of 2023, Slovenia's carpooling and ridesharing app market showcased a variety of trends across the top five apps. Data from Sensor Tower highlights the weekly downloads and active user metrics for Bolt: Request a Ride, Uber - Request a ride, Prevoz, BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus, and Careem – rides, food & more. Here's a closer look at their performance.
Bolt: Request a Ride experienced varied weekly downloads, with a notable peak of around 630 downloads in mid-March. The app's active users fluctuated, starting at approximately 4.6K in late December and ending at around 4.2K by the end of March.
Uber - Request a ride showed consistent performance in weekly downloads, peaking at 550 in mid-March. Active users remained robust, starting the quarter at about 15.4K and ending at 14.3K.
Prevoz had steady weekly downloads, reaching a high of 291 in mid-March. However, there was no available data on active users for this period.
BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus saw an increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 272 in mid-March. Active users demonstrated growth, starting from 334 in late December and reaching 693 by the end of March.
Careem – rides, food & more showed a modest number of weekly downloads, with the highest being 120 at the end of January. Active users saw a slight increase, starting at 145 in late December and peaking at 206 in mid-March.
