In Q1 2023, the top 5 dance games apps in the United States displayed varying performance trends across weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at how each app fared during the quarter.
Just Dance Now from Ubisoft saw fluctuating weekly revenue, peaking at around $16.8K in the last week of December and reaching a low of approximately $11K in early March. Weekly downloads experienced a significant increase in mid-March, rising to 18.9K from a low of 10.9K in early March. Active users displayed a similar trend, with a notable increase from 17.7K in early March to 25.9K in mid-March.
Ice Skating Ballerina by Coco Play had a more stable performance. Weekly revenue was relatively low, peaking at around $640 at the end of December and experiencing a few minor fluctuations throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads hovered around 2.7K to 3.2K, with a slight peak of 7.1K in late December. Active users remained steady, averaging around 8.5K to 9.7K throughout the quarter.
Dance Clash: Ballet vs Hip Hop, another title from Coco Play, had modest weekly revenue, reaching approximately $341 in mid-February. Weekly downloads showed an upward trend, peaking at 8.8K in the last week of March from a low of 5.3K in late January. Active users followed a similar pattern, increasing from 10.2K in late January to 13.8K by the end of March.
Hip Hop Battle - Girls vs Boys, also by Coco Play, experienced consistent but low weekly revenue, with a peak of about $112 in late January. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 1.3K to 1.5K, with a notable increase to 4K in late January. Active users displayed a steady trend, averaging around 18.4K to 24.6K throughout the quarter.
Acrobat Star Show, another Coco Play app, had minimal weekly revenue, with only a slight increase to $48 in the last week of March. Weekly downloads saw a significant peak of 3.7K in late February, up from around 1.2K in mid-January. Active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at 11.1K in late February from a low of 7.6K in mid-March.
