During the first quarter of 2023, the top 5 dating applications on a unified platform in Qatar saw varying performance in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Below is an overview of each app's performance based on data from Sensor Tower.
Chamet - Live Video Chat from Chamet Team had a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $21K in mid-February. Weekly downloads fluctuated, reaching a high of around 3.3K in late January, while weekly active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 10.5K throughout the quarter.
Tinder Dating App: Chat & Date from Tinder LLC experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, with a peak of about $19K in late December. Weekly downloads saw a slight decline, starting at around 1.4K and ending at approximately 960. Meanwhile, weekly active users remained consistent, averaging around 39K.
YoHo: Group Voice Chat Room from YoHo Studio saw a noticeable increase in weekly revenue towards the end of the quarter, reaching around $9.4K in late March. Weekly downloads increased steadily, peaking at about 1K in the same period. Weekly active users also grew, starting at around 2K and rising to nearly 2.9K by the end of March.
MICO: Go Live Streaming & Chat from Mico World had a significant spike in weekly revenue in late February, reaching around $10K. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, peaking at approximately 480. Weekly active users saw minor fluctuations, averaging around 3K throughout the quarter.
YoYo - Voice Chat Room, Games from Y Team experienced a peak in weekly revenue of around $6.1K in mid-March. Weekly downloads fluctuated, with a high of approximately 380 in mid-January. Weekly active users remained stable, averaging around 3K during the quarter.
