Throughout Q1 2023, the top five delivered meal kits and specialty foods apps in Europe demonstrated a mix of performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into these trends for HelloFresh: Meal Kit Delivery, Vivino: Buy the Right Wine, Gousto, Grow Food: Доставка питания, and CrowdFarming.
HelloFresh: Meal Kit Delivery experienced a steady decline in weekly downloads, starting from 87.8K in the first week of January and dropping to around 62.1K by the end of March. Despite this, weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 718K and 840K throughout the quarter.
Vivino: Buy the Right Wine saw a significant drop in weekly downloads from 125.8K in late December to about 38.5K by the end of March. Meanwhile, weekly active users showed a slight decline overall, starting at 830K and ending the quarter at approximately 491K. Revenue for Vivino remained consistent, peaking at $122 in the final week of March.
Gousto had a varying trend in weekly downloads, beginning at nearly 7.6K at the end of December and peaking at 14.8K in early January, before stabilizing around 6.7K by the end of March. The weekly active users for Gousto hovered around 61K to 69K throughout the quarter.
Grow Food: Доставка питания started the quarter with 805 downloads at the end of December, peaking at 9.8K in mid-January, and then gradually declining to 3.1K by the end of March. The app's weekly active users reached a high of 45.8K in mid-January and concluded the quarter at around 34.4K.
CrowdFarming showed a consistent performance in weekly downloads, starting at 3K in late December and maintaining a range between 3.4K and 4.8K throughout the quarter.
