2026 State of Mobile is Live!

In the first quarter of 2023, the top 5 Film & Television applications on a unified platform in Cyprus showcased varying performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and revenue. Here’s a closer look at how these apps fared:
Netflix from Netflix, Inc. experienced consistent weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $1.6K in the final week of February. Weekly downloads showed a declining trend, starting from around 2.4K downloads at the end of December to approximately 1.5K by the end of March.
ANT1+ from Antenna TV had a fluctuating download pattern with notable spikes. The highest downloads were recorded in the first week of January at around 598, followed by a steady decline to roughly 314 by the end of March. Revenue data for this app was not available during this period.
Cytavision Go by Cyprus Telecommunications Authority saw a modest range in weekly downloads, starting from 242 at the end of December and peaking at 466 in the second week of January. Downloads then tapered off to about 175 by the end of March. Revenue data for Cytavision Go was not provided.
Amazon Prime Video from Amazon Mobile LLC maintained stable weekly revenue, with a peak of approximately $343 in the final week of February. Download numbers also showed an increasing trend, starting from 332 in late December and reaching around 408 by the end of March.
MovieFlix: TV, Movies, Series from Stream Media LLC had a significant rise in weekly downloads, especially in early March where it reached 875. However, downloads saw a sharp decline towards the end of the quarter, dropping to 159. Revenue for MovieFlix peaked at $12 in the final week of January but showed a declining trend thereafter.
