In the first quarter of 2023, the top 5 first-person games apps in Poland—Fishing Clash: Sport Simulator, Call of Duty®: Mobile, Minecraft, Standoff 2, and Hunting Clash: Shooting Games—demonstrated diverse performance metrics. Data from Sensor Tower reveals intriguing trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for these popular titles.
Fishing Clash: Sport Simulator by Ten Square Games S.A. saw its weekly revenue fluctuate throughout Q1 2023, reaching a peak of approximately $59.7K in the final week of March. Weekly downloads varied, peaking at around 8.7K in the last week of February. The app maintained a consistent user base, with weekly active users fluctuating around the 20K mark, peaking at 25K in late February.
Call of Duty®: Mobile from Activision Publishing, Inc. experienced stable revenue trends, with weekly revenue hovering around $14K to $23K. Downloads saw a gradual decline from roughly 6K at the start of the quarter to about 3.3K in mid-March, before a slight recovery to 3.9K by the end of March. Weekly active users remained robust, averaging around 63K to 70K, with a slight dip to approximately 58K in mid-March.
Minecraft, published by Mojang, showed a steady decline in both revenue and downloads. Weekly revenue started at around $18.7K and ended at approximately $12.4K. Downloads dropped significantly from 3.5K in late December to around 481 by the end of March. Despite this, the game maintained a strong active user base, peaking at around 87.2K in mid-February and settling at approximately 69.7K by the end of the quarter.
Standoff 2 by AXLEBOLT LTD showed consistent performance in Q1 2023. Weekly revenue remained stable, averaging around $14K to $16K, with a slight dip to about $11.9K by the end of March. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 10.2K in early March. The app enjoyed a strong and growing active user base, starting at approximately 164K and reaching over 207K by the end of March.
Hunting Clash: Shooting Games, also by Ten Square Games S.A., saw varied performance metrics. Weekly revenue showed a slight upward trend, peaking at around $12.6K in mid-March. Downloads saw significant fluctuations, with a peak of 5.7K in late February. Active users experienced a notable increase to around 10.6K in late February before declining to approximately 4.4K by the end of March.
