The first quarter of 2023 saw notable trends in the performance of the top 5 game apps in Russia, as tracked by Sensor Tower. Here’s a breakdown of their weekly downloads, revenue, and active user metrics.
Royal Match from Dream Games experienced a significant rise in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $210K in mid-March. Weekly downloads increased steadily, reaching around 216K by the end of February. Active users also showed a consistent upward trend, peaking at nearly 1.98M in early March.
Standoff 2 from AXLEBOLT LTD had varying weekly revenue, starting at $110K in late December and ending at around $59K by the end of March. Weekly downloads saw a gradual decline from approximately 197K in late December to 144K in late March. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 6.2M towards the end of the quarter.
Roblox by Roblox Corporation maintained strong weekly revenue, with a peak of about $220K in late December and a slight dip to $148K in mid-March. Weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at 320K in early January and ending at 283K by late March. Active users consistently stayed around the 8.9M mark throughout the quarter.
Subway Surfers from Sybo Games ApS had modest weekly revenue, generally below $1K. Weekly downloads showed a slight decline from 277K in late December to 156K by the end of March. Active users also saw a decrease, starting at 2.9M in late December and dropping to around 2.4M by the end of March.
Durak Online card game by R-Soft had stable weekly revenue, averaging around $13K to $18K throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads remained consistent, averaging around 125K. Active users showed some fluctuations, ending the quarter at approximately 5.18M.
