In the first quarter of 2023, Mexico's top five horror games showcased notable trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides a comprehensive overview of how these games fared on a unified platform.
Meme Hunters: Hide & Seek from playducky.com saw significant fluctuations in its weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 197K in the last week of December. By the end of March, downloads remained healthy at around 116K. Weekly revenue exhibited a steady increase, peaking at $53 in late February. Weekly active users also showed positive trends, reaching nearly 473K mid-February and ending the quarter with approximately 449K.
Granny from DVloper maintained a strong presence throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads started at about 93K in late December and dipped to around 57K by late February, before rebounding to 70K at the end of March. The game’s weekly active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 360K and ending the quarter at approximately 297K.
Alphabet Shooter: Survival FPS from chad game experienced a decline in weekly downloads, beginning the quarter at around 122K and dropping to 29K by the end of March. Despite this, the game maintained a consistent number of weekly active users, starting at 290K and concluding the quarter at approximately 341K.
Monster Craftsman Survivor 3D from TAGO Studio saw a decrease in weekly downloads from 59K at the start of the quarter to 37K by the end of March. However, weekly active users showed an upward trend, starting at 113K and rising to 180K by the end of the quarter. Weekly revenue remained relatively low, peaking at $9 mid-February.
Rainbow Friends: Hide 'N Seek from UniKong had a significant increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 133K in mid-February before stabilizing at 44K by the end of March. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, peaking at 468K mid-February and settling at around 355K by the end of March. Weekly revenue was minimal but peaked at $6 in late February.
