In Q1 2023, the Maps and Navigation category in Saudi Arabia saw significant activity among the top 5 apps. Using data from Sensor Tower, we can dive into the weekly performance of these leading applications.
Uber - Request a ride had notable download activity throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at around 39.4K in early March and averaging approximately 28K-32K in other weeks. The app also maintained a high level of weekly active users, starting at 922K in late December and stabilizing around 908K by the end of March.
Radarbot Speed Camera Detector showed a mixed trend in weekly revenue, starting strong with $12.4K in late December, dipping to $6.1K in early February, and recovering to about $9.8K by the end of March. Bolt: Request a Ride had relatively stable download numbers, with weekly downloads hovering around 18K-23K, peaking at 23.4K in early March. The app's active users remained consistent, starting at 154K in late December and ending at 141K by the end of March.
Qibla Finder Compass 100% saw a steady trend in weekly revenue, peaking at $2.2K in late February and maintaining around $1.5K-$2K in most weeks. Downloads were fairly consistent, with a notable spike to 19.6K in mid-March. Active users increased from 28.4K in late December to 33.3K by the end of March.
