During the first quarter of 2023, the top 5 poker game applications in South Africa showed varied performance across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at how these apps fared:
WSOP Poker: Texas Holdem Game from Playtika saw a notable peak in weekly revenue, reaching approximately $6.6K towards the end of March. Weekly downloads were strong in mid-February, peaking at 1.3K, while weekly active users reached a high of 4.4K in February before declining to around 3.1K by the end of the quarter.
Poker Offline by Zmist Games had a consistent performance in terms of revenue, peaking at $121 in late January. Downloads were relatively stable, with a peak of 518 in early January, and weekly active users hovered around 2.7K throughout the quarter.
Governor of Poker 3 - Holdem, another offering from Playtika, had its highest revenue of $1.9K at the end of January. Downloads increased to 329 in early March, and weekly active users peaked at 2.4K mid-March.
Texas Hold'em Poker: Pokerist from KamaGames experienced a peak in weekly revenue of $1.9K at the beginning of January. Downloads were highest in late March at 210, while weekly active users peaked at 2.7K in the first week of January before settling around 2K towards the end of the quarter.
MONOPOLY Poker - Texas Holdem from Playtika had its highest weekly revenue of $196 in late January and late February. Downloads peaked at 352 in early February, and weekly active users reached a high of 725 around the same time.
