In Q1 2023, the top sandbox-like games in Peru exhibited diverse trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the performance of Roblox, Minecraft, PK XD: Fun, friends & games, ZEPETO: Avatar, Connect & Live, and IMVU: 3D Avatar Creator & Chat.
Roblox experienced a fluctuating trend in weekly revenue, starting at around $39.4K at the end of December and gradually declining to approximately $22.3K by the end of March. Weekly downloads saw a peak of 91K in the first week of January before stabilizing around 45K to 56K towards the end of the quarter. The app maintained a high number of weekly active users, hovering around 1.6M to 1.7M throughout the period.
Minecraft displayed a steady decline in weekly revenue, starting from $6.5K at the end of December and dropping to about $3.3K by the end of March. Weekly downloads remained relatively low, fluctuating between 67 and 131 downloads. Active users saw a peak of 17.2K in January but gradually decreased to around 13.8K by the end of March.
PK XD: Fun, friends & games showed a stable revenue trend, averaging around $600 to $800 weekly. Downloads experienced significant growth, with a notable peak of 10.9K in the week of February 20. Active users fluctuated around 200K to 220K throughout the quarter, showing a slight decline towards the end.
ZEPETO: Avatar, Connect & Live saw varying weekly revenue, peaking at $844 in mid-March before dropping to $419 by the end of the month. Downloads peaked at 29K in mid-January, then gradually declined to around 12K by the end of March. Weekly active users reached a high of approximately 184K in mid-January, stabilizing around 140K in the following weeks.
IMVU: 3D Avatar Creator & Chat maintained a steady revenue trend, averaging around $400 to $600 weekly. Downloads fluctuated between 356 and 802, with a peak in early January. Active users remained relatively stable, ranging from 7K to 8.8K throughout the quarter.
