In Q1 2023, the top 5 turn-based tactics games on a unified platform in Ukraine showed varied performance trends. Data from Sensor Tower provides detailed insights into their downloads, revenue, and active user metrics.
Magic War Legends from TINYSOFT saw a decrease in weekly revenue, starting from approximately $9.3K in the last week of December to around $3.5K by the end of March. Weekly downloads for this game also showed a declining trend, starting at 4.3K and dropping to about 1.2K. Active users followed a similar pattern, decreasing from 22.8K to 9.2K over the quarter.
Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus ™ by Snowprint Studios AB had a more stable performance. Revenue peaked at around $3.3K in early March, with weekly downloads increasing towards the end of the quarter, reaching 1.2K. Active users also showed an upward trend, growing from 1.7K to nearly 3K by the end of March.
Necropolis: Story of Lich, also by TINYSOFT, experienced fluctuations in revenue, with a peak of approximately $2.7K in mid-February and a low of $1.6K at the end of March. Downloads saw a significant drop from 4.7K in late January to just over 1K by the end of March.
The Walking Dead No Man's Land from Deca Live Operations GmbH had modest revenue figures, peaking at $1.3K in late December and stabilizing around $900 in March. Downloads were relatively low, with a peak of 164 in late January and a low of 15 in mid-March. Active users decreased from 636 in late December to 515 by the end of March.
Finally, Arcane: Dungeon Legends, another game from TINYSOFT, showed consistent revenue around $600-$1.1K throughout the quarter. Downloads remained steady but low, averaging around 200 per week.
