During the second quarter of 2023, the top character collection games on the Android platform in the United States exhibited various trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at the performance of these top 5 apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Coin Master saw its weekly revenue peak at around $3.3M in early May, with fluctuations throughout the quarter, ending at approximately $2.7M in late June. Weekly downloads were relatively stable, reaching a high of about 84K in late April and a low of 66K in early June. Active users showed a notable increase from 416K at the start of the quarter to 464K by the end.
Evony: The King's Return had its weekly revenue peak at around $1.9M in late May, although it saw a decline to about $1.2M in early June, ending the quarter at $1.5M. Downloads were highest at around 57K in the final week of June. Active users remained fairly steady, starting the quarter at 271K and ending at 270K.
Solitaire Grand Harvest experienced a peak in weekly revenue at approximately $1.8M in early May. Downloads peaked at around 51K in mid-April and saw a second peak of 47K in late May. Active user numbers varied, starting at 86K, dipping to 66K in early June, and rising back to 86K by the end of the quarter.
Pokémon GO recorded a peak in weekly revenue of around $1.6M in early June. Downloads showed a notable peak of approximately 72K in mid-June. Active users remained strong throughout the quarter, starting at 6.9M and ending at 6.9M, with some fluctuations in between.
RAID: Shadow Legends had a more modest peak in weekly revenue at approximately $1.7M at the start of the quarter, gradually decreasing to around $1.1M by the end of June. Downloads were relatively stable, with a peak of about 28K in mid-May. Active users saw a slight decline, starting at 102K and ending at 89K.
