In Q2 2023, the high fantasy gaming category on Android in Saudi Arabia showcased notable performance metrics across downloads, revenue, and active users. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, highlights the top five high fantasy games: Lords Mobile: Last Rise of Qin, Akinator, Clash of Clans, Paper Princess's Fantasy Life, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
Lords Mobile: Last Rise of Qin from IGG.COM saw a varied performance throughout the quarter. Weekly revenue fluctuated, peaking at approximately $22K in early May and settling near $17K by the end of June. Downloads experienced a peak of around 15.3K in mid-May before declining to about 7.9K by the end of the quarter. Active users showed an initial increase to 46.6K by mid-May, followed by a gradual decline to approximately 37.3K by the end of June.
Akinator by Elokence SAS displayed stable download numbers, with a significant rise to about 15.7K in the final week of June. Active users followed a similar pattern, increasing from around 33.3K in early May to roughly 66K by the end of the quarter. However, the game generated negligible revenue during this period.
Clash of Clans by Supercell demonstrated strong financial performance, with weekly revenue peaking at approximately $47K in early May. Downloads fluctuated, reaching a high of about 8.6K in mid-May. The game maintained a robust active user base, fluctuating around 550K throughout the quarter.
Paper Princess's Fantasy Life from Libii HK Limited experienced a moderate increase in downloads, peaking at around 8.6K in early May. Active users also increased, reaching approximately 15K in early May before seeing a slight decline to around 13.7K by the end of June. The game generated minimal revenue during this period.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang by Moonton showed impressive revenue growth, peaking at about $62.5K in late April. Downloads saw a significant increase to around 7.3K in early June. Active users experienced some fluctuation, peaking at approximately 169K in early June before declining to about 144K by the end of the quarter.
