The second quarter of 2023 saw dynamic performances from the top 5 music and podcast apps on the Android platform in Slovenia. Here's a breakdown of how Spotify: Music and Podcasts, Deezer: Music & Podcast Player, Apple Music, TuneIn Radio: Music & Sports, and Replaio Radio performed.
Spotify: Music and Podcasts had a remarkable quarter. Weekly revenue saw a steady increase, starting at around $170 and peaking at approximately $600 by the end of June. Downloads fluctuated, reaching a high of 1.2K in mid-April and stabilizing around 953 by the end of the quarter. Active users remained strong, peaking at over 102K in mid-June before a slight dip to about 98K.
Deezer: Music & Podcast Player experienced moderate fluctuations in its metrics. Revenue started at around $159, with a peak at $185 in early May, before ending the quarter at approximately $139. Weekly downloads saw a high of 192 in early April, tapering off to 92 by late June. Active users peaked at 10.8K in mid-May, ending the quarter at around 10.5K.
Apple Music showed consistent performance. Revenue grew gradually from $78 to $122 over the quarter. Downloads saw an early peak of 302 in early April, ending the quarter at 136. Active users remained relatively stable, peaking at about 4.1K in mid-June.
TuneIn Radio: Music & Sports had a relatively stable quarter. Revenue fluctuated slightly, starting at $27 and peaking at $59 by mid-June. Downloads varied, with a high of 103 in early April, and ending at 70 in late June. Active users hovered around 1.2K throughout the quarter, peaking at 1.2K in mid-June.
Replaio Radio showed growth in several metrics. Revenue saw an increase from $2 to $21 by the end of June. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 274 in mid-June before settling at 219. Active users grew from 1.2K to 1.3K over the quarter.
