During the second quarter of 2023, the top five boat games on iOS in Australia displayed a range of performance metrics. Here is a detailed look at their weekly downloads, revenue, and active user trends.
Flippy Race from Ketchapp saw fluctuating weekly downloads, starting with around 504 in late March and peaking at approximately 929 by the end of June. Revenue also varied, peaking at around $101 in mid-April and stabilizing to around $54 by the end of June. Active users increased steadily from 2K to nearly 2.8K over the quarter.
Hyper Boat, published by Suji Games, experienced a significant increase in downloads from 194 at the end of March to 682 by the end of June. Active users followed a similar trend, rising from 206 to 694 over the same period.
Port City: Ship Simulator by Pixel Federation Games had a noticeable decline in downloads, starting at 433 and dropping to around 141 by the end of June. Revenue peaked at $977 in mid-April before fluctuating and settling at approximately $461 by the end of June. Active users decreased from 837 in late March to 396 by the end of June.
Titanic: The Mystery Room Escape Adventure Game from App Holdings maintained relatively stable download numbers, starting at 74 and ending at 102 by the end of June. Revenue remained low, averaging around $30 per week. Active users exhibited a slight increase, from 103 to 137 over the quarter.
Finally, Boat Racing Game: Driving games by Monster Games Productions exhibited modest download numbers, starting at 56 and ending at around 62 by late June. Revenue remained consistent, averaging around $36 per week.
