In Q2 2023, the performance of the top 5 entertainment mascot games on iOS in France showcased diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at how each game fared, according to data from Sensor Tower.
Angry Birds Dream Blast from Rovio Entertainment Oyj saw a fluctuating revenue stream, peaking at around $6.3K in the final week of June. Downloads experienced a notable decrease towards the end of the quarter, falling from 3.1K in early June to just under 700 by the last week. Weekly active users also showed a downward trend, starting at 14.7K in late March and dropping to 11.4K by the end of June.
Disney Emoji Blitz Game by Jam City, Inc. had a mixed performance. Revenue peaked at $8.2K at the end of March, dropped mid-quarter, and then saw another rise to $6.7K by the end of June. Downloads remained relatively low throughout the quarter, hovering around 500. Weekly active users remained stable, averaging around 3K throughout the period.
Angry Birds POP!, also from Rovio Entertainment Oyj, had modest revenue figures, peaking at approximately $680 in late May. Downloads were minimal but saw a slight increase to 63 in early June. Weekly active users showed a slight uptick, peaking at 43 in early June before dropping to 26 by the end of the month.
Angry Birds Evolution by Rovio Entertainment Oyj displayed a varied revenue trend, with a high of $595 in early April and a low of $189 in late April. Downloads peaked at 165 in early April but gradually declined to 98 by the end of June. Weekly active users showed a consistent decline from 239 in late March to 171 by the end of June.
Lastly, Sonic Forces PvP Racing Battle from SEGA had a relatively stable revenue, peaking at $392 in early June. Downloads remained steady, averaging around 900 throughout the quarter. Weekly active users saw a slight decrease from 11.9K in late March to 10.7K by the end of June.
