In Q2 2023, carpooling and ridesharing apps in France experienced diverse trends in terms of downloads and active users. Here's a detailed overview of the top 5 apps based on data from Sensor Tower.
Uber - Request a ride demonstrated a significant growth in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 37K at the end of March and peaking at around 62K by the end of June. The app also saw an increase in weekly active users, growing from about 812K to over 1.1M during the same period.
Bolt: Request a Ride maintained a steady performance with weekly downloads fluctuating between 35K and 47K. Weekly active users also showed a gradual increase from around 112K to approximately 131K by the end of June.
BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus experienced consistent weekly downloads, ranging from 31K to 36K. However, weekly active users saw some fluctuations, starting at around 347K and ending the quarter at approximately 351K.
BlaBlaCar Daily (Covoiturage) also showed a stable download trend, with weekly downloads moving between 24K and 27K. The app's weekly active users increased slightly from about 70K to roughly 73K.
Heetch - Ride-hailing app saw a notable rise in weekly downloads, starting at around 14K and reaching nearly 30K by the end of June. Weekly active users grew from approximately 69K to about 92K over the same period.
