In Q2 2023, the top 5 celebrity games in Australia demonstrated diverse performance trends across downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared during this period, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Kim Kardashian: Hollywood from Glu Games LLC experienced a fluctuating revenue pattern, peaking at around $6.1K in late May. Downloads remained relatively stable, with slight increases and decreases, closing the quarter with approximately 281 downloads in the last week of June. Weekly active users showed a gradual decline from 870 to 768 over the quarter.
Lamar - Idle Vlogger by Crazy Labs had a mixed revenue performance, peaking at approximately $929 in late April but seeing a low of about $363 in late May. Downloads saw significant fluctuations, with a high of around 3.6K in early April and a low of about 1.6K in late May. Weekly active users remained robust, averaging in the range of 9K to 12K throughout the quarter.
PewDiePie's Tuber Simulator from Outerminds Inc. showed a steady increase in revenue, peaking at approximately $523 in the final week of June. Downloads, however, saw a declining trend, dropping from around 316 in late March to 87 by the end of June. Weekly active users followed a downward trend as well, from 2.2K to about 1.6K during the same period.
Revue Starlight Re LIVE by Ateam Entertainment Inc. had consistent revenue growth, reaching about $474 in the last week of June. Downloads were negligible, with only a couple of instances of activity, and there was no data available for weekly active users.
MovieStarPlanet 2: Star Life from MovieStarPlanet showed a significant spike in revenue in late May, reaching around $807, before stabilizing to about $373 by the end of June. Downloads remained low but stable, averaging around 30 per week. Weekly active users were steady, ranging from 173 to 210 throughout the quarter.
