In the second quarter of 2023, the top 5 entertainment mascot games in Switzerland showed varied performance trends across downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Below, we dive into the specifics for each game, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Angry Birds Dream Blast from Rovio Entertainment Oyj saw its revenue fluctuate, starting at around $20.5K in late March and peaking at $21.9K in early May, before gradually declining to $18.7K by the end of June. Downloads started strong with 865 in late March, peaking at 1.1K in mid-April, and then experienced a downward trend, ending the quarter with 536. Weekly active users began at 9.6K in late March, reaching a high of 10.9K in mid-April, and then tapered off to 8.6K by the end of the quarter.
Disney Emoji Blitz Game by Jam City, Inc. had a more stable performance in terms of revenue, starting at $2.9K in late March, dipping to $1.5K in mid-June, and then recovering to $2.4K by the end of the quarter. Downloads showed an upward trend, beginning at 111 in late March and peaking at 271 in mid-June, with a slight decrease to 240 by the end of June. Weekly active users were relatively steady, starting at 456 in late March, with a gradual increase to 553 by the end of June.
Angry Birds Match 3, also from Rovio Entertainment Oyj, exhibited stable revenue, starting at $1.3K in late March and ending at $781 in late June. Downloads were minimal, with the highest being 49 in late May. Weekly active users data was only available for late May and early June, showing a decrease from 36 to 11.
Angry Birds POP! from Rovio Entertainment Oyj had fluctuating revenue, starting at $1.3K in late March, peaking at $2K in early April, and ending at $873 in late June. Downloads were almost negligible, with a few spikes such as 10 in early April.
Angry Birds Blast by Rovio Entertainment Oyj had a less dynamic performance. Revenue began at $1K in late March, dipped to $385 in late April, and then recovered to $627 by the end of June. Downloads were consistently low throughout the quarter.
