In Q2 2023, the top 5 food delivery service apps in Brazil showed varied performance trends across downloads and active users. Below is a detailed look at each app's performance, based on data from Sensor Tower.
iFood comida e mercado em casa saw a fluctuation in weekly downloads, starting at around 296K at the end of March and peaking at approximately 346K in the first week of April. The app maintained a weekly download count in the range of 247K to 306K for the rest of the quarter. Weekly active users showed minor ups and downs, starting at around 10.8M and peaking at 11.5M in early June before finishing the quarter at approximately 10.8M again.
Zé Delivery de Bebidas experienced a slight decline in weekly downloads towards the end of the quarter. Downloads peaked at about 143K in early May but dropped to approximately 99K in mid-June. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at around 557K and peaking at 602K in early April, then fluctuating and ending at about 515K by the end of June.
DAKI | Supermercado rápido demonstrated significant growth in weekly downloads, especially towards the end of the quarter. Downloads surged from around 15K in late March to nearly 200K in mid-June. Active users also showed growth, starting at about 171K and peaking at 382K by the end of June.
iFood para Entregadores maintained a steady increase in weekly downloads, with a notable spike to about 84.6K in mid-May. Active users showed a gradual increase from 204K at the end of March to approximately 234K by the end of June.
Rappi: Food Delivery, Grocery displayed relatively stable weekly download trends, ranging from around 20K to 26K throughout the quarter. Active users showed a slight decline from around 810K at the start of the quarter to about 738K by mid-June, before ending at approximately 738K.
