In the second quarter of 2023, the performance of the top 5 Gacha games in Brazil exhibited a mix of trends across weekly downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.
8 Ball Pool™ saw fluctuations in its weekly revenue, peaking at around $63K in early April and maintaining figures between $45K and $58K for most of the quarter. Weekly downloads varied, with a high of approximately 264K in early April and a low of around 158K in early June. The game's active user base showed a downward trend, starting from over 4M at the end of March and ending at around 3.2M in late June.
Honkai: Star Rail, which launched in April, experienced its highest weekly revenue of approximately $93K in mid-May. Weekly downloads spiked to about 755K in its launch week but tapered off to around 32K by the end of June. Active users mirrored this trend, starting strong at over 417K in late April and declining to around 270K by the end of the quarter.
Asphalt 8: Airborne maintained consistent weekly revenue, with figures generally around $700 to $1.1K. Notably, downloads surged to approximately 172K in the last week of June, a significant increase from the quarter's start. Active users peaked at about 364K in the same period, reflecting the increased download numbers.
eFootball™ 2024 showed strong weekly revenue, peaking at around $132K in early May and maintaining figures above $90K throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads remained steady, averaging around 60K to 70K. Active users demonstrated a positive trend, growing from approximately 3.8M at the end of March to nearly 5M by the end of June.
Head Ball 2 - Soccer Game had relatively stable weekly revenue, hovering around $2.4K to $2.7K. Weekly downloads saw a peak of about 79K in mid-April and reached around 78K again in late June. Active users remained consistent, with slight fluctuations, ending the quarter at around 393K.
