In the second quarter of 2023, the top 5 insurance apps in the Netherlands—Zilveren Kruis, CZ declareren, VGZ, Univé, and Centraal Beheer—demonstrated distinct patterns in weekly downloads and active user engagement.
Zilveren Kruis exhibited a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, peaking at 5.3K in mid-April and stabilizing around 4.2K towards the end of June. The app's weekly active users also showed a steady performance, reaching a high of 14.6K in mid-April and maintaining approximately 12.5K by the end of the quarter.
CZ declareren saw a more stable download pattern, with weekly downloads ranging between 2.9K and 3.8K. The number of active users for CZ declareren showed a slight downward trend, decreasing from 7.6K at the end of March to around 5.5K by the close of June.
VGZ experienced significant growth in weekly downloads, particularly in May, where downloads peaked at 5K. The active user base remained strong throughout the quarter, averaging around 92K, with a notable increase to 97.3K in late May.
Univé had a consistent performance in weekly downloads, maintaining figures between 2.3K and 3.3K. Weekly active users for Univé remained relatively stable, fluctuating slightly around the 5.5K mark throughout the quarter.
Centraal Beheer showed a steady increase in weekly downloads, reaching a peak of 3.2K in mid-June. The app's weekly active users also demonstrated growth, rising from 4.2K at the end of March to 5.1K in mid-June.
