In the second quarter of 2023, the top 5 navigation and maps apps on a unified platform in Guatemala exhibited diverse trends in weekly downloads and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into their performance.
Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a relatively stable weekly download trend, peaking at around 18.7K in early April and ending the quarter with approximately 14.8K downloads. Active users for the app fluctuated slightly, starting at 237.3K in late March and closing the quarter with 243.8K.
Google Maps experienced a gradual increase in weekly downloads, beginning at roughly 3.4K and reaching a high of around 4.7K by mid-June. The app maintained a fairly consistent number of active users, hovering around the 224K to 228K range throughout the quarter.
Google Earth displayed a steady download rate, starting at approximately 2.8K and ending the quarter with about 3.4K downloads. Active users for Google Earth varied slightly, beginning at 25.2K and peaking at 25.9K towards the end of June.
Radar Map, Radar Detector, HUD showed a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 886 and peaking at 3.3K in mid-June. The app also saw a rise in active users, starting at 3.7K and reaching approximately 8K by the end of the quarter.
Maps All in One, Speedometer had a varied download trend, beginning at roughly 1.7K and ending with about 1.2K downloads. Active users for this app showed a slight decline, starting at 1.8K and stabilizing around 1.5K by the end of June.
