In the second quarter of 2023, the top 5 navigation and maps apps in Lithuania showed varied performance trends across weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a detailed look at how each app fared.
Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced consistent growth in weekly downloads, starting at around 4.6K in late March and peaking at approximately 6.2K by the end of June. Weekly active users also saw a general upward trend, rising from 78.5K to 91.9K over the same period.
Google Maps had a steady performance in weekly downloads, starting at 2.4K in late March and gradually increasing to about 3K by the end of June. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 149K and 163K throughout the quarter.
Google Earth saw a mixed trend in weekly downloads, with numbers ranging from 460 to 1.1K. Weekly active users showed some fluctuations as well, starting at 5.9K in late March and ending at 4.7K in late June.
GPS Map Navigation had a modest but steady increase in weekly downloads, reaching 771 by the end of June. Revenue saw occasional spikes, peaking at $16 in late May. Weekly active users also increased, growing from 1.2K to 1.8K over the quarter.
TomTom GO Navigation showed varied performance in weekly downloads, peaking at 684 in early May and ending at 637 in late June. Weekly revenue fluctuated but remained strong, reaching around $570 in late April. Active users showed some decline, starting at 931 in late March and ending at 986 by the end of June.
