The third quarter of 2023 saw dynamic performance trends for Austria's top carpooling and ridesharing apps on the Android platform. Here's a closer look at the weekly downloads and active user patterns for the leading apps.
Bolt: Request a Ride maintained consistent weekly downloads, fluctuating between approximately 1.5K and 1.9K. Active users showed a slight increase, peaking at around 16.9K in the last week of September.
Uber - Request a ride experienced a varied download pattern, with weekly downloads ranging from 1.5K to 2.2K. Active users started at about 65.4K and dipped to around 57.9K by the end of July, before rising again to 62.7K by the end of September.
BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus saw relatively stable download numbers, averaging around 400 to 500 weekly downloads. The app's active users remained steady around the 4K mark, with a slight dip and recovery throughout the quarter.
Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver showed modest weekly downloads, starting at 181 and peaking at 297 in late August. Active users hovered around 3.3K to 3.6K, with minor fluctuations.
inDrive. Save on city rides had the lowest download numbers among the top five, ranging from 59 to 95 weekly downloads. Active users saw a slight decline from 854 to 734 over the quarter.
