In the third quarter of 2023, the top 5 dining and restaurant apps on the Android platform in Spain showed interesting trends in downloads and active users. Here is a detailed analysis of their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.
The McDonald's app saw a significant peak in downloads during the week of July 24, reaching nearly 47K. However, downloads declined steadily to around 16K by the end of September. Weekly active users also showed some fluctuations, starting at approximately 533K at the beginning of the quarter and ending at around 450K.
KFC España experienced a rising trend in downloads, starting from 14K in late June and peaking at about 34K in the last week of September. Active users followed a similar upward trend, beginning at 76K and reaching approximately 121K by the end of the quarter.
Downloads for BURGER KING® España showed a gradual decline from 22K in late June to around 14K in late September. Weekly active users fluctuated but remained relatively stable, starting at 392K and ending the quarter at about 305K.
The Starbucks España app had an interesting download pattern, with a low of about 4K in late July and a peak of approximately 25K in the last week of September. No data was available for weekly active users.
TheFork - Restaurant bookings saw a decline in downloads, starting at 7.5K in late June and dropping to around 4.9K by the end of September. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, with a slight decrease from 31K to about 30.9K throughout the quarter.
