During the third quarter of 2023, the health and fitness app category on Android in Turkey saw notable performances from five key applications. Here's a closer look at their trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Meditopia: Sleep & Meditation showed consistent weekly revenue, ranging from approximately $1.3K to $1.5K, peaking at $1.5K in early July. Weekly downloads fluctuated, starting at 3.4K and reaching up to 5.1K in mid-July before stabilizing around 2.7K to 3.8K towards the end of the quarter. The app maintained a robust active user base, starting at 27.1K and gradually declining to 22.1K by the end of September.
Fitify: Fitness, Home Workout experienced a significant increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 10.6K in late July before dropping to around 3.4K by the end of September. Revenue followed a similar upward trend, reaching approximately $1.6K in early September. Active users grew from 14.6K at the start of the quarter to a high of 23.6K in late July, before decreasing to 15.3K by the end of the quarter.
BetterMe: Health Coaching saw variations in weekly downloads, starting at 3.8K and peaking at 7.5K mid-July, then stabilizing around 4.0K to 4.8K through September. Revenue was stable, averaging around $1.1K to $1.5K weekly. Active users increased from 18.7K to a high of 28.8K in mid-July, then tapered to around 20.0K by the end of September.
Sleep Monitor: Sleep Tracker achieved a remarkable surge in weekly downloads, skyrocketing from 1.6K at the end of June to a peak of 54.6K in early August, then stabilizing around 17.4K to 47.9K towards the end of the quarter. Revenue mirrored this pattern, with significant spikes, peaking at $3.6K in the final week of September. Active users also saw substantial growth, reaching 43.8K by the end of the quarter.
Kompanion Intermittent Fasting displayed steady growth in weekly downloads, starting at 1.7K and reaching a peak of 10.2K in late August. Revenue showed a consistent increase, peaking at $1.4K in the last week of September. Active users grew from 29.3K at the start of the quarter to 48.2K in late August, then slightly decreasing to 41.3K by the end of September.
