The third quarter of 2023 saw intriguing trends for the top 5 puzzle games on the Android platform in the Netherlands. Here's a detailed look at the performance of these games based on data from Sensor Tower.
Block Blast! by Hungry Studio maintained a consistent download rate throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads ranged from approximately 5.4K to 10K, peaking in early July. The game saw a gradual decline in weekly active users, dropping from about 64.6K at the beginning of the quarter to 47.6K by the end.
Get Color - Water Sort Puzzle from ZephyrMobile experienced a peak in weekly downloads at 8.4K in early August, followed by a decline to around 4.3K by the end of September. Weekly revenue fluctuated, reaching a high of $223 in late July. The game saw a steady increase in weekly active users, growing from around 16.2K to 24.8K over the quarter.
Twisted Tangle by Rollic Games showed a declining trend in weekly downloads, starting at 8.5K in late June and dropping to approximately 2.7K by the end of September. Weekly revenue followed a similar downward trend, decreasing from $274 to $62. Despite this, weekly active users remained relatively stable, ending the quarter at around 12.1K.
Words of Wonders: Crossword by Fugo Games saw its weekly downloads fluctuate, peaking at 5.5K in late July before settling around 3.9K at the end of September. Weekly revenue also experienced a decline, from $1.2K at the start of the quarter to $748 by the end. However, weekly active users remained strong, averaging around 35K throughout the quarter.
Crossmath - Math Puzzle Games from Guru Puzzle Game exhibited a significant increase in weekly downloads, rising from 1.4K in late June to a peak of 6.1K in late August, before decreasing to 3.4K by the end of September. Weekly revenue showed a steady increase, peaking at $59 in late August. Weekly active users also grew significantly, reaching approximately 18.4K by early September.
