In Q3 2023, the top 5 word puzzle games on the Android platform in Guatemala showcased varied performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Here’s a detailed look at each game’s performance based on Sensor Tower data.
Words of Wonders: Crossword from Fugo Games had a fluctuating quarter. The game’s revenue peaked at $41 in the last week of July and settled around $29 by the end of September. Downloads showed a significant decline, starting at 3.1K in late June and dropping to around 1.2K by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users followed a similar downward trend, starting at approximately 17.8K and ending at around 13.9K.
Wordscapes by PeopleFun maintained stable revenue figures, starting at $21 and ending at $25 by the end of the quarter. However, the downloads were relatively low, ranging between 26 and 66 per week. The weekly active users also showed a slight decline from 178 to 137 throughout the quarter.
Word Domination by MAG Interactive had a mixed performance. Revenue varied significantly, peaking at $25 in the last week of September. Downloads were minimal, ranging from 0 to 22 per week. The game had a relatively stable number of weekly active users, starting at 685 and ending at 636.
Words With Friends 2 Word Game from Zynga showed consistent revenue around $10 per week, with a slight increase to $11 in the last week of September. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 35 in late August and dropping to 2 by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 70 throughout the quarter.
Scrabble® GO-Classic Word Game by Scopely experienced a notable peak in revenue of $27 in the last week of September, up from a low of $2 earlier in the quarter. Downloads were consistent, ranging from 139 to 274 per week. The game maintained a stable number of weekly active users, starting at 724 and ending at 613.
