In the third quarter of 2023, the top 5 cryptocurrency apps on iOS in Germany exhibited varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.
CoinStats: Crypto Portfolio experienced notable fluctuations in its weekly revenue, peaking at $211 in mid-August. The app saw a significant drop in downloads, starting at 155 in late June and dwindling to single digits by the end of September. Active users showed a moderate decline from 3.8K to 3.3K over the quarter.
Bitcoin Ticker maintained a relatively stable revenue stream, with a notable peak at $67 in mid-September. Downloads remained low throughout the quarter, with a maximum of 8 in the last week of June. Active users saw a slight decline, starting from 1.2K in late June and ending at around 922 by late September.
For 3Commas: Crypto Trading Bots, revenue showed intermittent spikes, peaking at $104 in the final week of September. Downloads were sporadic, with several weeks registering zero downloads. Unfortunately, no data was provided for active users.
Good Crypto: Exchange Manager had a relatively stable revenue, with a peak at $42 in mid-August. Downloads were minimal, with occasional single-digit figures. As with 3Commas, no data was available for active users.
Zengo: Crypto & Bitcoin Wallet saw its highest revenue of $87 in late July. Downloads were more consistent compared to other apps, peaking at 126 in early August. The app's active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 580 throughout the quarter.
