In the third quarter of 2023, the top 5 food and drink iOS apps in Hungary showed varied performance trends in terms of downloads and active users. Below is a detailed analysis based on Sensor Tower data.
Foodora HU: Food & Groceries, published by Delivery Hero Hungary Kft., saw a noticeable increase in downloads. Starting at around 2K in late June, downloads peaked at 3.7K in mid-September. Active users also showed a steady rise, reaching about 29.5K by the end of the quarter.
Wolt Delivery: Food and more, from Wolt, maintained a consistent download rate with a peak of 3.1K in early September. Active users increased from approximately 23.2K in late June to 25K by the end of September, indicating solid user engagement.
McDonald’s - Non-US, published by McDonald's Global Markets LLC, experienced stable download numbers throughout the quarter, with a significant jump to 3K in the last week of September. Active users fluctuated slightly but remained around 31K to 38K during this period.
Munch - (B)eat food waste, from Munch Europe Szolgaltato Korlatolt Felelossegu Tarsasag, showed consistent downloads, generally hovering around 2.2K to 2.3K. While the data for active users wasn't available, the steady download rate suggests sustained interest.
BURGER KING® Magyarország, published by Expremio Marketing SRL, had a consistent download trend, peaking at 2K in early September. Active users remained quite stable, ranging from 17.2K to 18.5K throughout the quarter.
