In Q3 2023, the top insurance apps in the United Kingdom showed diverse trends in downloads and active users, as indicated by Sensor Tower data. Here's a closer look at the performance of the leading apps:
Throughout the quarter, weekly downloads for Hastings Direct Insurance fluctuated, peaking at around 14.5K in the last week of September. The lowest point was in mid-July, with approximately 9.7K downloads. Active users showed a steady increase, starting at around 38.8K at the end of June and rising to 42.4K by the end of September.
Cuvva's weekly downloads witnessed a steady rise, reaching nearly 9.8K in the final week of September. Active users also trended upwards, starting from 19.3K at the end of June and increasing to 20.6K by the end of the quarter.
Admiral Insurance saw consistent growth in weekly downloads, hitting a high of approximately 10.5K in the last week of September. Active users also increased steadily, beginning at around 52.2K in late June and climbing to 59.8K by the end of September.
MyAviva experienced varied download numbers, with a peak of about 8.1K in late July and a low of 5.1K in early September. Active users showed an overall upward trend, starting at 16.2K at the end of June and reaching 18.3K by the end of September.
Help@hand saw a decline in weekly downloads over the quarter, from 4.8K at the end of June to approximately 2.2K in the last week of September. Active user data was not available for this app.
