In the third quarter of 2023, the top 5 arcade sports apps in Costa Rica showed varied performance metrics in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared according to Sensor Tower data.
Published by Electronic Arts, this app had a mixed quarter. Weekly revenue peaked at around $488 in early July but saw a gradual decline to $124 by the end of September. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 11 and 27, while weekly active users hovered around the mid-20s, peaking at 28 in early July.
First Touch Games Ltd.'s soccer app had a strong start with 4.6K downloads in the first week of August. However, downloads saw a substantial decline to 407 by the end of September. Weekly revenue showed a similar pattern, peaking at $466 in early September before dropping to $166. Active users also decreased from 3.2K in early August to 1.2K by the end of the quarter.
Wildlife Studios’ tennis game maintained a steady performance. Weekly revenue ranged between $108 and $242, peaking in late August. Downloads saw a high of 640 in early July but dropped to 177 by the end of September. Active users remained robust, starting at 4.9K and ending at 3.9K.
Golf Battle from Miniclip.com had a consistent quarter. Weekly revenue fluctuated, reaching a high of $316 in late August. Downloads were strong, peaking at 1.2K in early August and maintaining over 500 weekly downloads throughout the quarter. Active users were stable, averaging around 10K to 11K.
Also published by Miniclip.com, Mini Football saw varied performance. Weekly revenue peaked at $149 in early July but fell to $74 by the end of September. Downloads started strong with 1.5K in early July but dropped to 578 by the end of the quarter. Active users showed a similar trend, starting at 1.6K and ending at 1.7K.
