The third quarter of 2023 saw notable performances from the top 5 crime games on a unified platform in the Middle East. Here’s a detailed look at how each app fared in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.
Thief Puzzle: to pass a level by TapNation demonstrated a consistent increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $137 in the final week of September. Weekly downloads also saw a significant rise, reaching around 65K in the same week. The app maintained a stable number of weekly active users, with a peak at roughly 170K at the end of the quarter.
Robbery Bob - King of Sneak from Deca_Games showed a decline in weekly downloads, starting at around 42K and dropping to approximately 21K by the end of September. Revenue followed a similar decreasing trend, ending the quarter at about $233. Weekly active users also saw a decrease, from nearly 270K to around 209K.
Hunter Assassin by Ruby Games AS experienced a gradual decline in weekly downloads, from around 45K at the start of the quarter to about 18K by the end. Revenue remained relatively stable, fluctuating around $400 to $500 throughout the quarter. Active users saw a drop from approximately 179K to around 133K.
Airport Security by Kwalee Ltd had a mixed performance. Weekly downloads peaked at around 39K in late July but dropped to approximately 26K by the end of September. Revenue saw a downward trend, ending the quarter at about $141. Active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at around 72K in late July and declining to approximately 57K by the end of the quarter.
Gangster City: Thug King from Monster Game Studio - OneSoft saw a steady decline in weekly downloads, starting at around 23K and ending at approximately 13K. Revenue remained minimal throughout the quarter, peaking at $9 in the final week of September. Active users, however, showed relative stability, maintaining around 76K towards the end of the quarter.
