In Q3 2023, the top fitness and weight loss programs on a unified platform in Finland showcased diverse performance metrics. Data from Sensor Tower reveals interesting trends for Strava: Run, Bike, Hike, YAZIO Calorie Counter & Diet, Geocaching®, Sports Tracker for All Sports, and Fitbit: Health & Fitness.
Strava: Run, Bike, Hike saw a peak in weekly revenue of around $13.9K in late July, followed by fluctuations throughout the quarter, ending with approximately $7.2K in the last week of September. Downloads started strong with 1K in mid-July but declined to about 762 by the end of September. Weekly active users experienced a steady pattern, peaking at 11.9K in mid-August before slightly decreasing to 11.3K at quarter's end.
YAZIO Calorie Counter & Diet showed a revenue peak of roughly $9.6K at the end of July, followed by a gradual decline to around $6.5K by the end of September. Downloads followed a similar trend, peaking at 1K in late July and tapering off to about 637 by the quarter's end. Weekly active users saw a decrease from 17.8K in mid-July to 16.1K by the end of September.
Geocaching® reached a weekly revenue peak of approximately $8K in mid-July, with a subsequent decline to about $4.8K by the end of September. Downloads remained relatively stable, hovering around 800-900 throughout the quarter. Weekly active users saw a peak of 2.7K at the beginning of July, with a slight decline to around 2.4K by the end of September.
Sports Tracker for All Sports experienced a revenue peak of around $3.8K in early August, tapering off to approximately $2.4K by the end of September. Downloads saw an upward trend, peaking at about 2.3K in mid-September. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, with a peak of 19K in mid-August and a slight decrease to 18.6K by the end of September.
Fitbit: Health & Fitness had a steady revenue decline from $3.1K in late June to approximately $1.5K by the end of September. Downloads remained relatively low, fluctuating around 200-250 throughout the quarter. Weekly active users saw a slight decline from 9.3K at the end of June to about 8.9K by the end of September.
