In the third quarter of 2023, the top 5 insurance applications in Brazil showed varied performance across downloads and active user metrics. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the trends for these leading apps on a unified platform.
Porto: Seguros, Cartão e + experienced a consistent increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 35K in early August. Active users for the app also demonstrated growth, starting from 540K at the end of June and reaching approximately 577K by the end of September.
Bradesco Seguros had a stable performance in weekly downloads, with numbers fluctuating between 18K and 26K throughout the quarter. The app's active users remained relatively steady, hovering around the 180K mark, with a slight increase towards the end of September to about 189K.
Unimed Nacional saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, particularly in late August, reaching a peak of 25K. Active user numbers also rose, starting at 106K at the end of June and climbing to approximately 124K by the end of the quarter.
Bradesco Saúde displayed a varied trend in weekly downloads, with a high of 20K at the end of July. The app's active users showed some fluctuation but generally trended downwards, starting at 113K in late June and ending at around 109K by late September.
Unimed SP - Clientes had a peak in weekly downloads at the end of July, reaching around 16K. Active users for the app also saw a slight increase, beginning the quarter at 57K and ending at approximately 57K by the end of September.
