State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!
In the third quarter of 2023, the top 5 insurance applications in Germany showed varied performance across downloads, active users, and revenue. Below is a detailed look at each app's trends:
Meine AOK saw a significant upward trend in weekly downloads, starting at around 24K in late June and peaking at approximately 30K by mid-September. Active users mirrored this growth, rising from about 137K to nearly 148K during the same period.
For TK-App, weekly downloads fluctuated between 15K and 19K, with a noticeable increase towards the end of the quarter. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 177K in late June and slightly increasing to 171K by the end of September.
BARMER-App maintained steady weekly downloads, ranging from 12K to 14K. The app's active user base also saw a consistent rise, growing from 151K to around 159K throughout the quarter.
Meine Allianz experienced a more modest performance. Weekly downloads varied between 9K and 11K, while active users remained stable, hovering around 41K to 44K over the quarter.
Lastly, Allianz Gesundheits-App had the most significant fluctuation in downloads, starting strong at 20K but dropping to around 3K by late September. Active users showed a declining trend from approximately 86K to 73K.
