In Q4 2023, the top 5 air travel apps on the Android platform in the Netherlands showcased varied performance metrics, reflecting their popularity and user engagement. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into downloads, revenue, and weekly active users for these apps.
KLM - Book a flight saw consistent downloads, with numbers fluctuating between 2.4K and 3.1K per week. The highest download count was recorded in the first week of October at 3.1K. Weekly active users remained steady, ranging from 11.8K to 12.6K, peaking in late October.
Flightradar24 Flight Tracker experienced a peak in downloads in mid-October with 3.5K, followed by a general decline towards the end of the quarter, ending with 2.7K in the last week of December. Revenue showed fluctuations, starting at approximately $3.1K in late September and decreasing to $1.6K by the end of December. Weekly active users also saw a downward trend, starting at 50.7K and ending at 44.5K.
Ryanair had a notable decline in downloads over the quarter, starting from 3.1K in early October to 1.3K by mid-December, with a slight recovery to 1.7K in the final week. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, beginning at 15.2K and dropping to 12.0K, with a minor increase to 13.0K in the last week.
Transavia downloads started at 2.7K in late September and decreased to 1.2K by early December, with a slight rise to 1.8K by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users saw a consistent decline from 8.7K to 6.6K over the same period.
easyJet: Travel App maintained a relatively stable download count, ranging from 1.3K to 1.7K throughout the quarter, peaking at 1.7K in the last week of September. Weekly active users showed minor fluctuations, starting at 13.8K and ending at 12.8K, with a peak of 13.4K in late November.
