During the fourth quarter of 2023, the top 5 carpooling and ridesharing apps on the Android platform in Croatia displayed diverse performance patterns in terms of downloads and weekly active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.
Bolt: Request a Ride experienced a fluctuating trend in downloads, starting with approximately 2.6K in late September and peaking at around 3.7K in mid-December. The app's weekly active users saw a decline from about 59.4K in late September to roughly 49.3K by the end of December.
Uber - Request a ride had relatively stable download numbers, beginning at around 1.5K in late September and reaching a high of approximately 2.1K in mid-December. Weekly active users for Uber showed an overall upward trend, increasing from about 92.6K in late September to nearly 98.4K in mid-December, before dropping slightly to 88.2K by the end of the quarter.
BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus demonstrated stable download figures, with numbers oscillating between 900 and 1K throughout the quarter. The app's weekly active users also showed consistency, starting at around 6.4K in late September and ending at approximately the same level by the end of December.
Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver maintained a steady download rate, ranging from 200 to 270 per week. Weekly active users remained stable throughout the quarter, fluctuating slightly around the 3K mark.
Careem – rides, food & more had the lowest download numbers among the top 5, starting at 28 in late September and peaking at 70 in late November. The app's weekly active users ranged from 107 to 162, showing some growth towards the end of the quarter.
