As the fourth quarter of 2023 wrapped up, the UK's dining and restaurant app scene on Android saw varied performances across the board. Sensor Tower's latest data reveals how the top apps fared during this period.
McDonald’s UK experienced a downward trend in downloads from 54K in late September to around 15K by Christmas, with weekly active users peaking at 648K in early October before dropping to approximately 424K at quarter's end.
Greggs also saw a decrease in downloads, starting at 35K and dipping to nearly 13K in December. Active user count showed resilience, starting at 118K and ending slightly lower at 99K.
Domino's Pizza Delivery downloads fluctuated, commencing at 24K, dipping to 15K mid-quarter, and closing slightly higher at around 17K. Weekly active users started at about 167K and ended at 145K.
KFC App UKI - Mobile Ordering saw an interesting trend with downloads initially at 16K, peaking at nearly 20K in November, and maintaining close to that level at the end of December. Active users showed a steady range, starting at 132K and ending the quarter at 139K.
Lastly, Costa Coffee Club experienced a slight decline in downloads from 15K to 11K. Active users remained fairly stable, starting at 126K and slightly increasing to 124K.
