During the fourth quarter of 2023, the performance of the top fast food and fast casual restaurant apps on the Android platform in Spain showed notable trends in downloads and weekly active users. Here’s a closer look at the data provided by Sensor Tower.
KFC España saw fluctuating download numbers throughout Q4, starting strong with approximately 33.6K downloads in the week of September 25 and peaking at around 39.6K downloads in the week of November 27. Weekly active users followed a similar pattern, beginning with 120.9K users and reaching a high of about 142.5K users in the same peak week.
McDonald's experienced a consistent performance in downloads, starting at approximately 15.9K in the last week of September and peaking at around 23.8K in the week of November 27. Their weekly active users showed a significant spike, jumping from 450.1K to an impressive 839.6K in the same peak week, before settling at 517.8K by the end of December.
BURGER KING® España downloads remained relatively stable, starting at about 13.5K and peaking at 19.1K in early November. Active user numbers also displayed steadiness, beginning at 305.2K and peaking at around 357K in the first week of December.
Domino’s Pizza España displayed a gradual increase in downloads, starting at 5.3K and peaking in early December with approximately 11.8K downloads. Their weekly active users remained stable around the mid-30K range, peaking at 42.2K in the first week of December.
Finally, Starbucks España showed a more volatile trend in downloads. Starting with a high of 24.7K downloads at the end of September, the numbers dipped and rose again to around 10.7K in late October.
