In the fourth quarter of 2023, the top fitness and weight loss programs on the Android platform in Germany exhibited diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users, according to Sensor Tower data.
YAZIO Food & Calorie Counter saw its revenue peak at approximately $111K in the last week of December, following a steady increase in the preceding weeks. Downloads spiked to around 18K in the same week, while weekly active users fluctuated, ending the quarter at roughly 380K.
Fitbit experienced a revenue increase, peaking at about $59K in the final week of December. Downloads also showed a notable rise, reaching around 17K in the same week. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, closing the quarter at approximately 347K.
komoot - hike, bike & run led in weekly active users, starting at around 1.33M and peaking at approximately 1.38M in early October. Revenue showed a significant drop mid-quarter but rebounded to about $38K by the end of December. Downloads also saw an uptick, finishing the quarter at approximately 9.9K.
Freeletics: Fitness Workouts had a stable revenue trend, peaking at around $21K in the final week of December. Downloads increased, reaching roughly 2.5K in the same period. Weekly active users saw a slight rise towards the end of the quarter, ending at approximately 35K.
Strava: Run, Bike, Hike had a consistent revenue stream, peaking at about $16K in the last week of December. Downloads also increased, reaching around 4.7K in the same week. Weekly active users showed a steady trend, concluding the quarter at approximately 202K.
