As the year 2023 came to a close, the market for tennis games on Android in the United States saw varied performances among the top contenders. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers a glimpse into how these games fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
Tennis Clash: Multiplayer Game, published by Wildlife Studios, showed a consistent pattern in revenue, peaking towards the end of the quarter with $27K. Downloads saw a significant spike in mid-October at around 12K, while weekly active users reached their highest at 114K in mid-October before gradually tapering off to 101K by the year's end.
3D Tennis from Mouse Games, despite earning modest revenue peaking at $43 in mid-December, maintained a steady download rate with around 1K weekly. Weekly active users showed a slight increase over the quarter, ending at approximately 3.7K.
For the newcomer Mini Tennis: Perfect Smash by Miniclip.com, revenues dipped to $772 by the end of Q4 from a starting point of $1.3K in late September. Downloads saw a notable peak at 2K in early December, and weekly active users had a high point of 35.5K in early December before declining to around 25K.
Helium9 Games' Tennis Arena showed a revenue high of $1.6K in late November but ended the quarter at $767. Downloads reached a high of 1.3K in late November, while weekly active users saw an increase to 2.7K in late November, finishing at 2.4K.
Lastly, Virtua Tennis Challenge by SEGA, with its low revenue figures, peaked at $25 in mid-December. Downloads were relatively low but ended the quarter on an upswing at 209. Weekly active users remained fairly stable, closing the quarter slightly up at 681.
