In the fourth quarter of 2023, fans of waifu games in Latin America showed their unwavering support for their favorite titles on Android. Sensor Tower provided the data for this analysis, offering deeper insights into the performance trends of these beloved applications.
Starting with GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE, published by Level Infinite, the game saw a consistent uptrend in revenue, peaking at $27K in early November. Downloads fluctuated moderately, maintaining around 3K to 4K weekly, while weekly active users (WAUs) climbed to a high of approximately 128K in the same early November week.
Yostar Limited's Azur Lane experienced a more volatile quarter. Despite a dip in revenue to $5K in early October, it rebounded to an impressive $29K by Christmas week. Downloads saw a significant drop in early October but managed to recover to over 3K towards the end of the quarter. WAUs showed a gradual decline, with a slight increase to nearly 17K by the end of December.
Honkai Impact 3rd - Part 2, from miHoYo Limited, had a revenue journey that ranged from $5K to $21K in late October, settling at around $11K by the year's end. The game's downloads saw a substantial spike to over 5K in late November, while WAUs hovered around 40K to 47K during the quarter.
NEXON Company's Blue Archive maintained a modest revenue between $1.5K and $9K, with downloads generally staying under 3K weekly. WAUs showed a slight increase from 7.4K at the quarter's start to just under 8K by its close.
Lastly, Action Taimanin, by Gremory Games inc., had a steady revenue, ranging from $1.1K to $2.8K, with no new downloads recorded throughout the quarter. Its WAUs saw a gradual decrease, ending the quarter at 288.
