In the fourth quarter of 2023, the top entertainment mascot games on iOS in Switzerland demonstrated diverse performance across downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Here's a closer look at the trends for each app, based on Sensor Tower data.
Angry Birds Dream Blast from Rovio Entertainment Oyj saw a significant increase in revenue, starting at approximately $8.6K at the beginning of October and peaking at around $12.3K by the end of December. Downloads fluctuated, reaching a high of 243 in mid-November. Weekly active users also varied, with a peak of 3.4K in mid-November and ending the quarter at about 2.9K.
Disney Emoji Blitz Game by Jam City, Inc. experienced a steady climb in revenue, starting at $1.3K in late September and reaching nearly $2K by the end of December. Downloads showed an upward trend, peaking at 272 in the last week of December. Weekly active users increased from 224 at the beginning of the quarter to 428 by the end.
SpongeBob Adventures: In A Jam from Tilting Point LLC had an interesting trajectory in revenue, beginning at $578 and reaching a high of $1.2K at the end of October before stabilizing around $671 in December. Downloads were highest at the start with 2K in early October, tapering off to 290 by the end of December. Weekly active users peaked at 1.9K in early October, ending at 539.
For Angry Birds POP!, also by Rovio Entertainment Oyj, revenue saw significant fluctuations, peaking at $1.6K in mid-November and ending the quarter at $1.4K. However, download and active user data were minimal and did not demonstrate significant trends.
Lastly, Angry Birds Match 3 from Rovio Entertainment Oyj showed a modest revenue increase, starting at $457 at the end of September and peaking at $931 by the end of December. Downloads were sparse, with the highest being 16 in mid-November. Weekly active users data were limited but peaked at 32 at the end of November.
